The Brit

The Highrailer

Adjacent and a sister building to The Brit, The Highrailer is a $25-million Highrailer project currently under construction to create 114 housing units and ground floor retail and restaurant space. The Highrailer will have its own identity while offering similar industrial-like aesthetics and more luxury amenities like a gym and courtyard. The project will be completed and ready for occupancy at the end of 2024.

The Prohibition

Dubbed the “Barrio Latino” seven years ago, the Arch Street area has witnessed increased interest and development with the additions of Five Churches Brewing, Roosters Chicken & Waffles, and most recently, the Prohibition. A historic four-story building, 67-69 Arch Street was converted into nine residential luxury apartment units with a speakeasy-themed cocktail and tapas bar, I Know You Know, which is already a popular hotspot. 102 W. Main

Downtown recently celebrated the launch of a $17.5 million endeavor to breathe new life into a 52-year-old office building located at 102 West Main St. Located in the heart of downtown New Britain; this ambitious project aims to convert the space into 79 modern apartments with a ground-floor restaurant and a rooftop bar. The developer will add two additional floors to this 48,475-square-foot brick structure. With an eye on creating a vibrant downtown atmosphere, the development also pledges to reserve 20% of its apartments for affordable housing. Boasting amenities such as laundry, fitness center, and basement parking, this is another project that will surely redefine urban living.
